Victims Services invites applications for research projects to be conducted as part of the implementation of the Victims of Crime Research Fund.
Victims of Crime Research Agenda identified a number of significant research priorities to be considered over the coming three years. It also laid the foundation for the Victims of Crime Research Fund, which was developed to provide limited funding to suitable researchers for projects that address the highest of those research areas.
This research will increase the body of knowledge available in relation to those targeted research topics and potentially provide a benefit to victims of crime in New South Wales by better informing policies, programs and services.
In the first year of the Research Fund, we are focused on informative and applied research into the following two priority research topics:
Suitable research projects were selected using a tender process for each of the research topics. You can also find out more about the tendering process through the

Funded research should result in a proposed publication or resource that will contribute to the body of research already available about the needs and experiences of victims of crime.
