Victims of Crime Research Fund 2013

In the second year of the Victims of Crime Research Fund, we are focused on informative and applied research into two high priority research topics:

  • victims of non violent crime

  • victims with multiple/complex needs.

The Research Fund is not intended to be entirely prescriptive, and does not preclude researchers from submitting their own ideas for research in relation to these topics.

Ideally funded research should result in a proposed publication or resource that will contribute to the body of research already available about the needs and experiences of victims of crime.

The successful research proposal selected for funding was from the University of New South Wales who proposed research into victims of crime with multiple and complex needs. The researchers involved were A/Prof Leanne Dowse, A/Prof Kimberlie Dean, Mr Julian Trofimovs, and Dr Stacy Tzoumakis.
